Dying. The Tunnel Effect and Angels - Helpers
When the soul is already departing from this world on its astral posthumous journey, the physical body may still demonstratively continue to "suffer" from agonizing agony for some time, accompanied by various noises, sharp convulsions, anguished cries, and prolonged mournful groans. For the observer, this process is full of suffering and always frightens those who witness the dying process, confounding them with its incomprehensible phases, even terrifying them.
The horrific picture of agonizing death, accompanied by convulsions of agony and spasms of the body, wheezing, and screams, is purely an external effect of life exiting the physical body left behind by the soul. These horrors have nothing to do with the soul that has already been freed.
Moreover, due to an excess of carbon dioxide released during the process of the soul's separation, there is absolutely no pain in this body. Therefore, you should know that regardless of how agonizing the process leading up to death and the rejection of the soul from its former dense shell may be, in the very last moments of death, the sensation of pain is practically always absent in everyone.
During our astral observations of the dying processes of various people, we discovered a rarely violated pattern: the process of the fading functions of the central nervous system begins with the younger structures responsible for cognitive activity and ends with the oldest, long-standing formations that perform emotional functions.
The destruction of psychic centers begins with the Swadhisthana chakra—the sacral center. At this point, the human body loses the ability to digest food, and therefore, most dying individuals lack appetite. At this time, they may only experience thirst to enhance the functioning of the astral body, which consists of the element of water.
For those nearby the dying person, it is evident that the body has only a few minutes, at most hours, left to live. Therefore, water and juices should always be at hand. Usually, at this phase, the need for intravenous medications has already diminished. At this time, all efforts should be directed not toward caring for the body but toward clearing the mind and opening the heart.
One must be able to simply rest in a state of vision, even to the point of experiencing when your soul stands before the Clear Light of the Path, which you must strive not to miss and to discern. Upon seeing it, with a feeling of deep, intense devotion and trust, make the utmost effort of will to understand the nature of this Clear Light and merge with it as one. Connect your consciousness with it and cultivate a powerful faith to realize the Clear Light of the Path within yourself.
By the end of the "maturation period in suspended animation," memory, slowly and gradually, but already in incomplete form, discarding all coarse material and grounded aspects, will begin to return to the consciousness of the deceased. This state can last for each soul from several earthly "moments," "hours," "days," "weeks," "months," and sometimes even several "years," depending on the level of development of the individual’s consciousness, their mental state at the moment of death, the nature of the death, their interests during life, etc.
Usually, souls of individuals who categorically rejected even the slightest possibility of their posthumous existence during life remain in such a prolonged, indefinite state. The exit of the soul from such a state after death occurs very slowly and gradually with the help of specialists from the astral world.
According to our numerous astral observations, for the vast majority of dying individuals who lived a normal and virtuous earthly life, the temporary complete blackout of memory that accompanies the first moments of transition either very quickly disappears or is altogether absent, and instead, a Living Clear Light gradually appears in various imaginative variations and interpretations, seemingly made up of millions of miniature, dazzlingly sparkling rainbow-colored diamonds, tightly pressed together and in continuous motion.
In this light, a highly developed spiritual essence is undoubtedly discernible, radiating only positively impacting vibrations on the consciousness of the deceased, filling the entire space with emanations of Divine Love, Grace, and Trust in All. Some smaller features of the appearance or details of the "garment" of the Being of Light cannot be immediately distinguished because they are obstructed by the continuous internal sparkle of countless golden and silver sparks, resembling the joyful play of millions of sunbeams dancing within a form reminiscent of a human silhouette.
Looking at this luminous spiritual essence, the deceased—no matter how unjust their past earthly life may have been—typically experiences absolute confidence that no one can love them and empathize with them more than it does. Although this Being of Light cannot be regarded in terms of belonging to any gender, from the moment of Its appearance, anyone presented, whether a man or a woman, feels an unconditional attraction and desire for complete union with it.
This inexplicable feeling of irresistible merging with the Light begins to rapidly increase in the soul, and it is simply impossible to oppose anything greater to it. Dissolving in the finest emanations of this Eternal Light, the soul also begins to refine itself, losing its former density, and this energetic transformation brings the deceased a sense of immense relief, spiritual lightness, and a truly otherworldly peace.
The soul enters this tunnel, often as black as tar, traverses it with various sensations, and only after this unexpectedly finds itself in a brilliant land at the other, brightly lit end. But, we repeat, this process of the soul overcoming resistance from matter and the subconscious striving of the deceased for their swift liberation, marking the beginning of the transition, occurs differently for everyone, with numerous individual variations depending on many purely internal psychological and spiritual reasons.
There are different types of transitions through the tunnel: someone whose consciousness willingly leaves the dense body will glide through the tunnel easily and quickly, feeling nothing but the approaching light from afar, while others must literally be "pulled" from the physical plane. This explains why one soul takes a long time to awaken from sleep, while another immediately—filled with joy and love—enters the active creative life of the subtle world.
After fulfilling some of the mandatory "formalities" of their posthumous transition, concerning self-assessment of their lived life, upon entering the category of "definitively deceased," they immediately begin to consciously and joyfully perceive their new spiritual surroundings. Earthly life quickly recedes into the background for them because the creative "daily life" of their new existence exceeds all, even the most daring and optimistic, expectations.
Others, on the contrary, slowly and steadily seem to "float" through a very long dark passage, the walls of which are marked by deep longitudinal stripes, while experiencing various external noises, fragments of music, individual sounds such as rumbling, ringing of bells and chimes, buzzing, grinding, etc. This narrow passage, in their belief, connects "this" and "that" side of existence.
Sometimes, in its black stripes, resembling endless furrows, invisible windows suddenly open by themselves, allowing the deceased to distract themselves for an indefinite time with all sorts of vivid and completely "real" images that embody their most cherished life dreams and unrealized desires, or secret fantasies carefully hidden from others.
But both the first and the second understand well that they must inevitably pass through this path to reach the "other side," to their true consciousness and to connect the experience of their last incarnation with all the experiences of their previous existence, comprehending the truth of where they truly made miscalculations and mistakes, and where they were simply forced to act according to their destiny.
At this stage, the soul still remains very firmly connected to its spirit, and it is overwhelmed by an irresistible urge to move further in its spiritual development, and only after it reaches higher levels of awareness in the subtle world, when it accepts its spiritual initiation and gains autonomy in its further existence, will it be able to separate from the spirit just as it once separated from its physical vehicle.
No deceased individual is left to "the whims of fate" or unnoticed—each human soul (after all, many so-called "non-humans" also die) receives assistance, care, and support. Those who loved you, relatives and friends who died earlier, greet you "there." Those who had none are met by friendly helpers tasked with guiding the disoriented newcomer in the new life that unfolds before them.
At the very boundary (although, of course, no actual boundaries exist, as everything is vibrations of various types of energy!) between our three-dimensional world and the "otherworldly" realm, the newly deceased person encounters the spiritual entities that helped them during life, who will assist them in navigating part of their posthumous transition. The task of each of these beings is to guide their charge through "childhood" to a higher awareness.
It will fulfill its task only when a certain qualitative expansion of consciousness has been completed. Only after one type of astral energy has transformed sufficiently to become entirely different, of higher quality, and purer, will it be replaced by another spiritual mentor who will lead the deceased to higher spiritual peaks.
Let us note in passing that the same thing happens in life: each soul brings with it into its earthly incarnation its spiritual essence, which, even if it has a spiritual name, nevertheless cannot be reduced to the level of a mere "persona." With the growth of knowledge of the earthly personality, when all its thinking and worldview transition into another circle of vibrations, its guardian angel also changes, giving way to a higher form of intelligent energy.
There are also individuals whose spiritual missionary incarnations require constant spiritual connection with several guardian angels, assisted by many helpers. One should not confuse their subtle benevolent genius or disembodied teacher with their higher "self."
If you have freed yourself from fear, it means you see your service to life in the form, place, and time where your soul currently needs it most. Not your personal "self," but THAT which comes through you into the world and is given to people constitutes the creative task of your soul. You will understand that everything living on Earth only fulfills the eternal tasks assigned to us by God.
It is hoped that this summary, like all other books by Oris, will serve as the first psychological step for many of you in overcoming the barrier of fear of death, which will also provide significant assistance and bring great spiritual relief at a crucial moment for each individual.
